Right now I'm using Turtle Wax Ice Polish on my Mustang.Any suggestions for Polish/Wax to use without having to order it online? like buying it at Wal-Mart,Autozone,etc.I do use micro fiber cloths.Just wondering what everyone would recommend?Thanks for your input.Also,can you use a carnuba wax on top of a synthetic polish.Thanks again.

I am not sure which over the counter wax or sealant is best for Sonic Blue. (Somehow I have managed to only have black or red vehicles for almost 20 years...) I do know you can apply a pure wax over a sealant. In fact that is what many detailers do to get the "glow" of wax while the sealant provides long lasting protection.

One over the counter pure wax that I like is S100. It is actually the motorcyle version from a German company and is carried at most Harley-Davidson dealerships. S100 spreads "like butter" and comes off as easily. It is not a cleaner wax, however, so use it on a well preapred surface or over your sealant. Mother's SynWax is a cleaner/sealant that I like on my Dark Candy Apple Red. It is available at either AutoZone or Advance Auto - I forget which has it on the shelf now.
