It is something you can do, or have the body shop take care of it for you. There are several threads in here on that subject.... try doing a search

Funny, I just added a picture of mine to my thread in the "for sale" section, that you replied to..lol. I did mine myself, and it turned out great. Just make sure you sand the parts down good first, wipe clean with alcohol, then primer, then sand with a very fine grit, then wipe clean, then paint with a base coat (2 times), then clear coat. Make sure you do it on a warm day to let the clear coat mix together and settle to a flat coat, or you will end up with tiny bumps all over. Wait for it to dry!!! - don't get too anxious. Then wax and polish it - the clear coat will shine like the exterior. They don't make my color in spray cans so I found this company that will do it for you: http://levineautoparts.com/spraycanofto.html
Well worth it. Unless you are going to just paint the interior a boring silver, then use Duplicolor, but make sure it's a base coat paint, and use a clear coat, or else it will like dull crap.

Door panels - Yes, Horse - Yes. I'd skip the door handles and the vents; it starts to look a little too busy, almost ricy IMHO. Do the bezel and guage dash also. That would really tie it all together nicely. Tape the shifter bezel, like in the instructions at Mustangworld:
http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...eriorpaint.htm
Also, make sure you use some body compound of the door panels on the spot where the injection molding was injection for the mold, or else you'll end up with a swirly under the paint. It's hard to see right now, but once they're painted, it really sticks out. And I can't express this enough, SAND, SAND, SAND to a "smooth as glass" surface before priming. You want it to look like they continued the exterior body painting inside,a nd it changes the appearance from plastic to metal, like the body panels. I'll post close-ups of the door panels tomorrow - the pictures are on my work computer.

Here's the pics of the door panel close up. You can see the swirl i was talking about. I might do them again, but only if I still have the stang in spring. The weather is too cold for now.
