Hey,

Well, it's getting near garaging time for the cobra, and i've just been starting to get a list together of things i would like to do with her. One of the things that came to mind was converting the stock doors to open up like lambo doors. I'm wondering if anyone here knows of how difficult this will be, if there are any good kits that include all hardware, or how difficult it would be to just design a kit yourself(including purchasing individual pieces of hardware, i.e. gas struts, end links, hinges, locks, etc.). Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I just spoke to the owner and his wife Jerry & Kelly. They answered alot of questions. I wanted to see if the doors would open further and they told me they could modifiy them. They are the only decah dealer authorized to mod them without voiding the warranty. So they say, I would check with the manufacturer about that statement but they are the top of the line hinges as far as I can tell by my research. http://www.carexcess.com/disclamer.html

FYI- I did check with the people at decah. Carexcess is authorized by them to mod the kits and still keep the warranty.
