Use some dental floss and run it under the emblem to remove it.
Goo gonne will work for removing the glue, no problem.

Twister is nuts, he uses the razor blade to remove his tatoos

Yep that or fishing line and leather gloves so you don't cut your fingers to heck. Slide it under and pull back and forth like a saw motion to cut through the adhesive. After I got the emblem of I was able to remove most of the adhesive with my fingers then finish off with goo gone or mineral spirts like GTRaptor indicated.

Ops, and remember there is a pin that goes into the body so circle around it.

Goo bee gone will work. remember the fender GT's have a post that extends inside the fender. that's why i had to install the ponies on the fenders. The trunk GT is just a stick on emblem and will come off just fine.

Use the dental floss as GTRaptor says. its the easiest and safest way to remove them without scratching the paint.

You may experience a paint shade different under the GT badging because the paint hasn't seen the sun and all its bleaching effects.

Won't there be holes in the body after these emblems are removed?

The fender emblems have posts so there will be holes underneath them. The trunk badges are adhesive only

Not positive, but would heating up the emblems help pull most of the adhesive off? this was something that I DIDN'T think of before I pulled the emblems off of mine, but worked great for the clean up.

In the past, I've pried up one corner with a mini screwdriver, just enough to get my fingernail under it. I was then able to pry it off.

For the glue, I just use paint thinner on a rag. Just wipe gently, you'll begin to see it disappear. Follow that up with some wax, and you'll never notice that an emblem was there.

goo gone is the best stuff to get anything sticky off. just dont let it soak on your pain cause it can take your paint off to.

3M makes an adhesive remover that works without damaging any paint surface. It's available at any automotive paint supply.
