I just painted my GT Emblems Black, whats the best way to seal the paint? should i wax it or get something else?

i got matte black, will the clear coat make it shine? if so thats a no go, as i am going for the flat look
And as a side note.... man that trunk emblem was a bich to get off! haha, good thing the sides were easy!

they make a matte clear coat also but I dont think you'll need it. the matte black will hold up fine.

Just went and checked on them after theyve been sitting for 3 hours, they came out really nice. the side GT badges look sexy! but the trunk emblem has some slight bubbling on 1 corner which is probably due to overspraying but it's barely noticeable. Gonna let them sit overnight and install them 2morrow. I'll take pics once they are on

the "bubbling" is prob contaminints, if it looks like poo then get some 2000 grit and wet sand, dry and re-shoot the matte black. make sure the tip is clean and the can shook. and spray a piece of junk in the opposite direction for a couple seconds then whipe the wet paint off the tip of the can, then you are ready to spray.
Cool,im not the only one who did this.and yes,that damn trunk badge is a PITA to get off. I also did my fuel door and want to do the door handles. As far as the clear coat goes,how is that applied? Anyone know if they have a spray can version ??

That's what u was talking about the clear coat comes in a spray can either matte or gloss
