Question Paint fiberglass hood......

Does anyone know about lhow much $$$ a Fiberglass hood like this would be to get prepped and painted professionally??

It really all depends on how well it fits . If it fits like crap then it will cost more .

I've had two hoods painted in the last year (Always use hood pins!). The first was $600 to get it installed and painted. It required some finishing (Harwood hood). The next is my MPS heat extractor, which fits awesome. I'm was quoted $500 to paint that, $800 if I wanted them to blend it into the fenders. It's not cheap, everyone I asked online said like $300 - $350, so either they have a very good body guy friend, or they're taking it to Maaco.

Just remeber with fiberglass hoods its a good idea to install it on your car FIRST,not only to see if it fits,but to let it get used to the elements,mainly engine heat,I have seen many warp and you want that to happen BEFORE you paint it.
