Default Possible to exchange the front end to look like a 'four eyed'?

I always here about people with the older 79-86 mustangs that take the bodies, and change/add parts to make them look like the 87-93 fox bodies... Mainly just the front end, with the headlight assembly is what im talking about.
Is it possible to do the opposite?? I have an 88 LX, and would love it even more if it had the 'four eyed' look of the older generation. So is this possible? Anyone done it??

Thanks.

It can be done. My twin brother (Retro 5.0) did this to his '90 LX after it was involved in a minor accident. A replacement LX nose wasn't available at a reasonable price, so the swap was made to an '84 GT front end (we love to stockpile the '79-'86 pieces.)

Here's a few pictures. Note in the picture that the rubber side body molding is different in the front than on the rest of the car. If painted, it's hard to tell. But, in reality, it should be changed on the rest of the car as well (would require a new rear bumper cover from '79-'86 vintage).
