Question S281 spoiler install?

Has anyone put one of these on a 94-98.
Is there more than just the 4 factory holes that fasten the wing down?
Since it sits flush on the trunk lid

Default Spoiler install

Factory holes work; the front two are round; rear two elongated. There's not much spare room around the points of the spoiler where it covers the front two holes. I used an even bead of silicone directly around all 4 holes and then set the spoiler on. Used more silicone from underneath before putting on nuts/washers. Had troubles with the screws I was given with spoiler so cut the heads off of bolts and epoxied the resulting studs into the spoiler; ran a tap thru the spoiler holes first to clean them up. Purchase pre-painted (color-matched) spoiler from Spoiler Depot.

The cheap way is 3M tape. ;

Hey Matt, why not SR wing? Are you getting tired of it? Or, are other people getting tired of it for you?

Heya Matt. I got the S281 wing and I am lovin it. It's a very tasteful piece. The proper way to mount it is to use the front two factory holes and use 3M tape on the rear edge only. My body shop taped the whole thing and it looks bad. I'm going to take it back to them to remove all the excess tape.

Default S281

there's four holes in the trunk lid; four in the spoiler (at least the one I have) - why not use'em all?

What if you dont have any trunk holes?

I would have to mount the whole thing with tape right?
