Well, I just done one last weekend. The way I done it was to jack up the car take the wheel off of the side you're working on. Remove the inner plastic fender. (If you have cruise you'll have to remove the two screws holding the pod on and let it drop down-driver's side)This will allow access to your door hinge bolts. The hinges are welded to the door( no adjustment). Now the car I worked on needed the doors adjusted that's why we're here. I took the doors off. I figured I'd save time doing this as opposed to trying to get into the small crack between the door and fender.(read paint chips)to replace the pins. Now we go to the inside remove your inner door panel. Work the plug through the door (window up) so when you take the door off you won't have the wires hanging up. Now put either duct tape or multi-layers of masking tape around the edge of the fender lip by the door so as when you remove the door you don't scratch anything.Have a buddy hang onto the door or support it with a floor jack. Remover hinge bolts and door.
When you reattach the door put the bolts in snug but not tight. This will allow you to move the door up and down if you need. GENTLY close door. Check your gaps. This is where the floor jack comes in handy to support the door. Look at the car with the door almost closed check your striker to match. once its lined up tighten hinge bolts and ressemble. Hope this helps
