My girlfriend just bought a 2001 Ford Mustang. We just noticed today the there is some kind of ashes (probably from a cigarette) or dust behind the dashboard of the car.

To be a little more exact, there is debri in between the Speedometer cluster and the clear plastic that shields the outside from the cluster,etc.

How would I go about accessing this area to remove this debri?? Is there an easy way to website that I can go to to find out how.

Have you tried blowing it out with a blow gun on an air compressor / That might do it .

there are two hex screws facing up, take those out and roll out the cover, then there are 4 more holding the cluster in. take those out and then the cluster should also kinda roll out. thats how i take mine off.

and before you take off cover you need to take off the headlight switch.
