Question stripe removal on molding

My 88 GT Vert has the red stripe on the molding that just looks bad!! What is the best way to remove it and get the glue that was left behind off. I did remove the front bumber part but that took a complete afternoon and the glue is still there.

Warm up the stripe with a hair dryer and then start peeling it off the moulding. If glue residue is left over, use alcohol with a rage to rub it off. I'ts a cinch. Good luck.

I've gotten the strip off but now working on the glue. Is the door molding with the strip all rubber, including the red strip. If so does anyone know where can I get new ones with no strip?
