Hi,

My GT has some tears in the rear bumper -- anyone use anything to fix theirs? What has your experience been, and what compounds do you suggest?

Thought about buying new one, but the tears are so minor, I would be fiscally responsible just fixing them.

How about adding material where material has been chewed out of the skirts?

Yes 3M has a two part system that will repair urathane bumper covers. I repaired my front bumper on my 88 GT last year and it turned out not to bad.
I have sent Scott some pictures of my repair and he was going to scan them and put it on this site, but he must of forgot or was just to busy to do all the work.
There are some articles on the net about bumper repairs and the method used. That's how i received my information.
