Default Door interchange?

Hi -- I am in need of a door for the drivers' side for an 88 GT convertible. Can I simply remove the window frame from the door of a HT to put on my vert?

Thanks.

I think that will work, but you will need the window and regulator out of your old door.
The glass is longer to go all the way up to the top
I restored an 83 gt conv last year and it looks like the factory took a sawsall to the regular door

I was at a swap meet this past weekend and eyeballed some HT doors. Looks like how you describe it though I bet the factory probably has a steadier hand than I.

I may have to give it a go -- the bottom is really rusted out on the door I have.
