Door for console ash tray?

Hello,

I recently acquired a '92 GT convertible in reasonably good shape. However, the console ash tray door/cover is missing. Can someone recommend a source for a replacement? The interior plastic trim color is a combination of black and taupe (tan?) Should the ash tray door be black or taupe?
This is my first Mustang and I'm on a very fast learning curve. I'll be spending a lot of time in these forums.

I have an '82 with the tan int. and my door is black, don't know if yours would be the same, but probably is. Should be the same color as the color around it, I think. Best bet is a junkyard, don't know if anybody bothers with making those aftermarket. (maybe ford still has some NOS parts?)

You could also try posting a "Wanted Ad" in our Free Classifieds section. As for salvage yards, we have several good ones listed under "Mustang Parts" then "Used" in our Site Links section. I have had great luck with Prestige Mustang Parts. If you would prefer to buy new, contact 5.0Resto (Late Model Restoration) and they can look after you.
