Default Painting My Interior

Well last night I was reading this article on painting the interior of your mustang: http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...eriorpaint.htm

I have decided to do this and paint it the same color red as my mustang. However it does not show how to paint the driver and passenger side air vents. Can you take those out and paint as well? I would also like to paint the vents on top of the dash of the driver and passenger side. And last, I remember somewhere seeing a painted pony on the steering wheel. Has anyone seen this or know the best way of doing that? thx for the help.

Your best bet is to take out the vents to take them out of the office. The center top row of vents are part of the whole center colum, you will need to remove the radio before you can get to them.

My wife free hand painted the Pony on the steering wheel.... you can try taping off the pony first. Have fun.

Sorry, don't have any pictures of the interior right now... As soon as I get a chance I will post some up. The paint was just standard model paint. She did a great job.
