Default Odds and Ends for 82gt

I wasn't sure how many of you guys and gals perused the classifieds so I'm posting this here (hope that is OK). I am in need of a fuse box cover (goes under the dash beneath the steering wheel) and an 82gt hood ornament (black with silver stang). If anyone could hook me up with these I would really appreciate it. I have not run in to any of theses for sale anywhere.

If you look closely at a real 82 GT hood ornament, you will see that it
is a modified standard 79 - 82 piece, you can see the lines which
separated the red white and blue stripes under the black. I say this
because it would probably be easier to modify a standard piece than
it would be to find a genuine one. The clear plastic is often cracked
on these things, so I'm thinking you could remove the clear plastic,
blacken the red white and blue portion, and apply new clear plastic.
This "art" is known as cloisonet (don't know if I spelled it right). This
process is used to make jewelery. Try doing an internet search on
the subject if you are interested in going this route.
The 82 GT is my favorite fox body.

Very cool. I did not realize they were modified. I will certainly research "cloisonet" and will see what I can find. I have looked all over for an original ornament and am currently using one from a 79 (which drives me crazy because it just doesn't fit the look of the car and makes me conscious of it all the time lol, but it looks alot better than none at all). Thanks for the help.

P.S. The 82 gt is my favorite as well.
