Default Need some ideas on rust removers ?

Thought I'd post this link for anyone doing a resto, or prep for paint. I have ordered a gallon to prep a 67 stang with, lots of light surface rust, and I'll do a before and after photo series.
I like to sand to metal or use zero rust to stop rust in area's I can't reach, but this will be the first time I've tried to remove rust like this.

I have seen other sites but no before after or during shots like this stuff

Here are some other sites I found, I haven't tried any of these products, but I will be trying the one mentioned above, if anyone hase any experience with these products let me now, I use zero rust because my friend james has a fine 68 camaro and he has used it. He has had no rust return going on eight years. But these were in areas that had problems with water and were fixed before he used the zero rust, thought I'd put that out just to be fair.

I'm sure there are many more, just thought some one might have some experience with some of these products. I'll let every one know something next month on the product at the top.

I have heard nothing but good about por15 and a couple of years ago I used it on one of my cars and was very pleased with how it turned out. Messy as hell when you are applying it but sure seemed to work great! From what I understand, Por15 is supposed to completely seal the surface of the metal and prevent oxigen from getting at it to cause rust.

I am from Canada so I have seen my fair share of rusted surfaces. One product I swear by, and so do all of the bodymen I have spoken too back home is RustCheck. This stuff is absolutely awesome. Its like a light weight transmission fluid that you have to apply every year to your vehicle. The beauty of this stuff is that once it is sprayed on, it actually moves around on its own and eventually covers the complete panel, much like WD40. It can be somewhat messy but it definately works.

Not familiar with the other products you mentioned so I am unable to comment as to how well they work. Looking forward to learning how things go with the products you decide to use.

Wow looking at the Saferust site that stuff looks pretty nice. That would take the place of a beadblast cabinet. Less room, no air needed, no sandy mess and 55 gallons to soak in. ...and biodegadeable. For less money than a "workable" beadblast cabinet. Neat stuff thanks!
