Default Can I sandblast this fiberglass panel?

Hello,

I used BIX stripper to get the (3) layers of paint off this fiberglass panel using a plastic putty knife and both fine and course steel wool. What a job and yet, I still have more to get off. I've decided that the other panels are not that bad and have elected not to strip. I will re-paint only the two larger, lower panels. Please look at the one I have stripped. If I set the pressure to low, can I sandblast the remaining paint off this? Has anyone tackled this before?

Thanks.

Joe

I would avoid using sand to strip it. You can still use a sandblaster, but use crushed walnut shells instead. Sand will pitt that fiberglass in an instant. You can find the walnut shells or plastic blasting media at any good store that sells automotive preping supplies.
