Default Porter Cable 7424 DA polisher

Does anyone know of a good place for me to go buy this?

Brick and motor, or online?

Maybe the wife would like my car more, if I made it look better!!!

You can go to www.autopia.org/ and do a search...probably get some quick results there. Probably do a search on PC (for Porter Cable). I can't remember where I bought mine from. I think there's a place called Coastal Tools online that I've heard people buying them from.

try amazon.com. Free shipping.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...&s=hi&n=228013

Go to http://www.properautocare.com/usporcabpol.html before you put pad to paint.
Also, properautocare carries all of the pads and products that you'll need.

Yeah I Have been on the proper auto care site, for the last few months, trying to decide what I want to get.
Thought about getting a rotary but realized it would be too harsh!!!
So the DA should be the ticket, just not sure if it will fix my paint...
It's all my fault I let it go this long!!!!

Bad me!!!

Nice tint job on your GT. I want to do the same to my black V6, but I'm not sure where to go.

Well I looked at Lowes.
They have the 7336 model, which is the same as the 7424, except it has a 6" counterwieght instead of the 5" of the 7424.
Plus it is only $100... hopefully they will have a sale for Veterans tomorrow>>>>>

Thanks, it was a real b*tch to get it done!!!! personnel issues where I had it done. May be the last time I go to a startup company for work....

But for my area it is illegal. Limit here is 50/35 and I have 35/20. But of course it looks good being black!!!

I wish I knew more people in MI, otherwise I would recommend a place.
But I would check out www.autotrimdesigns.com see if they have a place near you.
The one by us does the Ford dealership tint work, and it is quite good!!!

Tint is illegal here too, but friends in the police dept. say that they usually will stop people for tint when they want to "make contact" with them for some reason. i.e. if they suspect that the driver or occupants are gang members or on probation, they'll use things like tint, broken license plate light, loud muffler to pull them over to get more info. Otherwise it's overlooked (mostly). I suspect that when more people tint their windows the cops will start cracking down, but if they know you to be a descent citizen they'll leave you alone.
I went to your site and read your car history. Dude, that's a lot of miles! Car looks good, though.

Peace.

I would buy that one. I've heard the counterweight isn't that big of a deal, but you can buy the 6" counterweight for a couple of bucks. I think Classic Motoring Accessories sells them.

Actaully because of the bigger counterweight, it is supposed to be smoother.

I will let everyone know how it goes.... hopefully with the clay bar, I can make the paint look better.

I have been using the PC 7424 for about a year now. You will be amazed how this polisher will bring paint back to life with just a fine compound. I bought mine at Canadian Tire.

Yeah I do enjoy how well this thing works!!!

I still have thei bad oxidation on my driver front fender. Going to try Meguiar's deep crystal polish on it. see if that works.
