Any of you guys with the dark green stangs painted your calipers? What color goes good with dark green? I also have the steeda ultra-lights........have a lookhttp://www.newbeefking.com/wheel/110-1060_IMG.JPG
yellow and green always go good cause green has yellow in it
I'd try a bright flourensent yellow on the calipers and some drilled or slotted disks with those nifty wheels. Make sure your paint can handle the heat!

My reasoning is this....I prefer the flourescent colors.....yellow, orange or red as dictated by the color of the car....sometimes white can work but it will show the dusk really easily.....cause the caliper is little and I like to draw a little attention to it inside the spokes.....paint it a dark color and you never see them.
So it really depends on if you want to draw attention to them?

I used to have yellow on a red car. Then I went to Ford light blue on red. Looks okay. But your car is a dark green. I'am kinda an art freak. Well put it this way I like to draw and I mostly draw cars and stuff like crotch rocket but I know my basic stuff about colors and proportions. Green is a complement to red as is purple to yellow and blue to orange. When these colors are shown together and only the two they are very eye catching. So go with red and you will have a good combo. Very eye grabbing
or.....if u really don't know what to do.....paint one, one color and the other another color and compare. then just repaint the one u don't like....u can hit it with laquer thinner or acetone to take off the paint u didn't like.....its a good idea to prep them with thinner/acetone in the first place to clean off any material or residue on the surface to be painted anyway....just be careful with the acetone and any rubber on the dusk booties

any recommendations for a red mustang? I'm going to be getting silver bullitt rims ya know the nice 17x8 ones? yea real slick right...just need to know if I should leave the calipers alone or paint them....
Definately red, bar none. I did it on my black 94 with cobra r wheels and it looks great. Another example if you want to see how it looks, check out the Bullitt, green car with red calipers- sweet. I used high temp engine paint and it's lasted excellently, and I did it probably close to two years ago. Also, the Eastwood Company sells high temp paint specifically for calipers. And they do get dirty, just get a car wash wheel brush to keep them spiffy, works for me.
