Default Front bumper scratched up from abrasive pad?

I just bought my friends 2000 black mustang gt and when he went to remove lovebugs he used a abrasive pad and now its scrathed up and was wondering what is the best way to fix this? Thanks for the help!

id get it buffed...worse case it might need wet sanded with 1200-1500 grit
