Default Interior Painting

This is for the people who have or knows someone who has painted there interior with some kind of paint/dye. I would like to know how well does the paint/dye hold up over time. Is there a particular company or brand I should be looking for. I want to paint my dash and all interior panels. Not just the trim pieces. The colors now are black and tan, but will be changed to black and silver/white. Im looking for some quality plastic safe paint and vinyl dye that wont fade within a couple of months. Any suggestions?

i painted all of my plastic pieces and door panels from red to black. i did it about 6 months ago and it still looks as good as the day i did it!! the key is to get whatever youre painting VERY clean. you can use alcohol to clean it really well, but i used this stuff called total prep. i bought it at checkers, and it just cleans all the oils and everything off extremely well, and i highly recommend it. i painted the pieces with dupli-color vinyl and fabric color. this paint doesnt require any primer or undercoating either. also, dont use a paint that is very glossy. i tried using a glossy black and it makes it look like its painted, if that makes any sense. i used kind of a flatter black and it looks exactly like OEM black interior. ive had many people ask me where i found all of my black interior pieces lol. for a few hours worth of work, i was, and still am very satisfied!!! it looks great and it was MUCH cheaper than buying all new interior, thats for sure...
