Default Door ding repairs

Hi,
The inevitable door ding has struck. Scratch is thru the clearcoat and into the base paint. What's the best way to repair the scratch? I'm not sure how to polish clearcoats...

If its through the paint as you say it is then either you can use touch up paint, or pay someone to repaint it professionally. OUCH, the first dent hurts the worst.

Sounds like you car has been de-verginized

Watch out where you park your pony, some hater has already attempted to scratch my GT. Found "vandelism" on the top of my front bumper, like several scratches from grinding something on the bumper.

Good thing I have some tricks to get rid of that stuff, and with the Zaino 1st coat of Z2 and Z6 (many more to come), it should make it even harder to pull that crap.

Sad that some people just can't stand to see somebody else with a sweet ride.

That's why these cars are equipped with a tire iron. What, did you think they were for changing a tire or something?! Next time you park, you take that with you in case you see someone touching your car! HAHA

I went to sign the papers on Marcus at the dealershipbut had some stuff done to him before I took him home. Stuff like the Perma-Plate and window tinting. He returned to the dealership with a ding in the door. No paint problems and the dealership fixed the ding with out any question. He looks like new...so far.

Having fun!

your lucky, my dealer said they don't repair dents. (?) I have the smallest dent, but I see it instantly, drives me nuts.

On another note, a friend of friend of mine just leased a 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo. Talk about a ride, unbelievable. Anyhow, just heard a week ago it was keyed.

If I drove a car like that, I would install 24/7 video cams covering all sides hooked to an wireless broadcast to a server. Any door ding, cart slam, envy onlooker, keyer, would all be recorded and prosecuted.
