I tried the new Meguire's NXT "Tech Wax". Don't like it. Zymol blows it away for shine.

I understand that it's a synthetic polymer, not a wax, and so probably has a longevity that blows away anything carnuba-based. But when I look at my half-finished hood and can't see a major difference between newly waxed and 6 month old wax, that's not very impressive. I clayed the hood before applying. The NXT finish is very slick to the touch, but it didn't hide swirls and fine scratches as much as I expected, or as much as a fine quality Carnuba wax.
I think I'll stick with the "old-fashioned" stuff...

In case it's relevant: I've got an 02 GT in Torch Red and the finish is still in good shape.
