About how much will one cost? Also, if any of you have black Stangs with tinted windows could you post pictures here. I want to see how different types of tint look. Thanks!

it would depend on where you go. There is a shop up the street from me that charged $15.00 for side windows and $30.00 for rear windows.
Extra if he has to remove old tint

I paid $150 for the side and rear window. The rear window is one piece not multiple pieces. This is street legal 35% tint. check my gallery for samples on my black 2002 GT

Does 35% tint mean that 65% visible light passes through.
I think the Penna. limit is that 70% visible light passes through on any of the windows. So, does that mean that 30% tint is the most I could get?

Your local tint shops and/or auto parts stores where they sell tint will know what you can use. I know that 5% tint is almost limo tint. so it maybe that it allows 5% of the light in. They are trying to get it where window tint is illegal.

Yeah click my gallery button to see mine currently not sure the % though since it was done before I bought it used.

Anyway I did put limo tint on my previous mustang (no pics

) on the side / rear and 4" strip at top of the winshield. I also put a very light tint on the entire front winshield. So when you looked out of it from the inside you could still see out but when you looked at the front from the outside it looked like it was ALL the way tinted..

Used to get a kick out of taking a 4D cell mag light and sticking it to the side window and you could not see anything inside. funny how that works though I used to have to roll down my windows at night to see before i turned..

Another tip...don't tint the entire back window. Leave the dotted edge by the roof of the car untinted. After you get the window tinted and the tint is set, tape off the tint and paint that part with a flat black spray paint. Make sure you are well ventilated and use news paper on the rear deck and such so that the "paint overspray" does not get on anything.
