Default how do i polish my aluminum wheels

i have rims from a 1998 mustang gt and they look pretty cool in my mustang but i want them polished so they will look even cooler but the problem is that i dont know how to polish them. I would appriciate some help by somebody telling me step by step.

easiest way is to get a tooth brush and a bucket of water to start, and really clean them, dont half-ass them. After that, just spray some tire cleaner on them. In the bucket you can have soap, or water, or a degreaser. The initial cleaning is always the hardest, then the maintenance is always easier.

I have chrome and don't need to worry about this but, my dad uses rubbing compound on my brothers aluminum rims. It's fine if you dont have clear on them, for example the 02 stock gt wheels have clear over them.Rubbing compound and a buffer work wonders, also theres a spray you can put over the wheel after you buff them to make them last longer I don't know what its called exactly though, might want to try looking it up.
