Re: What do you guys use to clean the inside of your rims? I've got the 18" polished aluminum Bullits- to get rid of the unsightly brake dust, I hit the rims with Meguiars Hot Rims and powerwash, making sure I get in behind each spoke,as well as the calipers etc. If all you're doing is a quick powerwash to blow the dust off, this works pretty good. Generally, if I'm washing the car by hand, I will still spray on the Hot Rims ,then use a wash mitt and bucket of soap specifically for the rims to scrub it off by hand. It's a little tricky to get inside the spokes due to the clearance between the rim and rotor, but with the Bullits, it's not impossible. I've also tried the Dupont Teflon Wheel Cleaner, but went back to Meguiars- as with everything else,it comes down to personal preference. Hope this helps!!!! :thumbsup |
