Question Convertable Roof

Hello...

I want to know if there is a product(s) which makes the convertable top 'blacker'. I checked with on "Black to Black" and it is not recommended for the vert. I've ordered the RaggTop cleaner & protectant, but was told that they will not make it blacker....

Any suggestions?

Thanks - Lisa

I think the issue with Back-to-Black might simply be that it's a little difficult to spread it evenly over such a broad area. Did you ask over at the Mothers forum at www.waxforum.com? They're pretty helpful over there.

I'll presume we're talking vinyl. In what condition is the top? Maybe a good cleaning and something like Mothers Reflections Tire Care (which is also a good vinyl dressing) would do the trick -- it makes my BFG g-force Sports darker than when I use Mothers Protectant, and I like the way it looks.

Thanks Jim D.....

Yes, it's vinyl. The general 'condition' is good, no wear, just faded. I bought it used and I don't think the previous owners took great care of the car...I didn't know I could use any type of vinyl dressing....

Thanks.
