Default touch up paint

I just bought an '01 mustang that needs a little bit up touch up paint, but the sticker that has the paint code was apparently removed by the previous owner because it is nowhere to be found. I have searched through many websites and have yet to find any two paints with the same name let alone matching color. Anyone know of a reliable site or source for touch up paints and figuring out the exact factory paint color?

Any good body shop or paint supply store will have a paint chip book. They are squares of paint with a hole in the middle. You pick your year, find what looks like it, then hold the chip over your paint for comparison. Once you figure out what the paint code was, I would make up a sticker to attach.

I have had excellent results with: http://www.paintscratch.com/
A little pricey, but their products have been a very good match for my use.

You really need the paint code rather than the name. Many times the same color (paint code) is given different names on different cars. As Blade10 said, just ask a body shop. They should be able to tell you pretty quickly.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
