Default Sand, paint, n finish

Im getting ready to completly redo the paint job on my 79 mustang, is there anything to the sanding that i need to know?

After the sanding is complete how about some tips on bondo

Then im figuring a black paint job i got everything for it, any tips for the pain precedure, and finishing coats????

There is actually a lot more to the sanding than just sanding. The single important thing is to evenly sand the vehicle. As an example - if you have a scratch and you "sand it out" you will create a low spot that requires a larger-than-you-would-think area to also need sanding. Its also important to match the finish sanding grit with the paint product you are using. (IOW, Follow the manufacturers recommended finish steps before applying.)

There are lots of books on the subject - and numerous articles on the internet. With all the questions you have - and *especially* since you are considering black (which will show every single detail you miss) I would really suggest doing a search for some good tips/tricks. You might even consider trying to work a deal with some local body shop to work for low wages/free in exchange for them teaching you a few hours worth of how-to.
