Anyone know what to use on matte black vinyl stripes when finishing waxing. Made the mistake of using armorall on them once now they have a minor swirl marking (the finish doesn't look even). BTW they are a quality 3M product.

I know some guys with '03 Mach 1s that are simply waxing them with Mothers FX SynWax.
If you insist on using a vinyl dressing, which probably isn't a bad idea, try Mothers Protectant, but with any dressing on an area that large, you'll need to buff very lightly while still wet to get an even look.
You can check with the manufacturer of your stripes, but I'd say a good synthetic like FX SynWax would be no problem at all. Just be careful with the edges and use care.
Thanks Jim D., I give that a try. I was wondering if a single wipe with a clean rag and some naptha or rubbing alcohol might also work, just once in a great while?

I emailed Zaino about my vinyl stripes, they said their polish would be great and offer protection from the sun. I used their Z2 and my stripes look great, really slick. Finished with Z6.
