Default Road Paint Removal

I must have driven over some freshly painted yellow lines and now I have yellow splatter on the car. Anyone know how to get this stuff off?

sometimes paint thinner will work but not all the time. There is a product made by Car Brite that are road paint removal wipes. check your local body shop supply houses and they should carry Car Brite products. I have detailed cars for over 18 years and that by far is one of the hardest things to get off but it can be done-

You can also wet sand and/or clay it off - but be extremely carefull because it is very easy to do more damage than good. Same with paint thinner - I have seen paint thinner immediately blister up an aftermarket paint job - so I would test on a non visible place first.

i agree with the clay. i use detailing spray and a bar, but whatever works. and if that doesnt work, bust out the compound. nothing to worry about harming the cars paint.........unless you drop the bar

My wife drove through some of that stuff with her Escape. I used Liquid Wrench/PBlaster penetrating oil. Get a couple of cans of it and don't do it in your garage - do it in the drive way. It will take a while, but it will get it off and soften it to the point where it will wipe off. Once you're done, give the car a good wash to remove any of the oil residue.
