I've tried using Meguiar's Hot Rims and eagle one rim cleaner and the meguiar's got most of it off but then when i used eagle the next day there it didn't remove anymore and there is still some area's it's just dark black almost burnt is there anyway to get rid of this crap?

Use the Mr. clean magic eraser. It works wonders on everything. I use it on my rims and they look brand new.

it says on the package alloy wheels but is it safe on chrome wheels?

Not sure, I used it to get some gum off my paint and it took the wax right off my car :P.

it worked great! which is funny considering the car detail shop that i had it at last said they couldn't get it off and that the rims were ruined....guess i'll never go to those idiots again thanks man
