All I have to say is that the consumer reports is ignorant reviews. For example, I worked for Turtle Wax for 6+ yrs managing a store and the Ultra Gloss is FAR better than the other Turtle Wax product they show with a better review. Ultra Gloss works great on plastics and leaves no residue. Where do they get their information from?
Ok enough of that.
I use Zaino and love it. One night my garage queen and I were "caught in the rain" and I figured the car would look like crap from the dirty roads, etc. The next morning the car looked like it had just been washed, with the exception of the back of the car where the dirty water had a chance to dry.
I was truly impressed by this and had never seen any other wax on the market perform so well. (I have tried MOST common waxes over the past while comparing various products and testing possible products that Turtle Wax had in R&D.
I have searched for Zaino in auto stores, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. and cannot find it. I picked up a bottle of Zymol then realized it was not Zaino.
Is Zaino sold in stores or mail order only?
Has anyone heard of or tried Turtle Waxes Brand called ICE SYNTHETIC LIQUID POLISH?

ey all, I just tried Turtle Waxes Brand called ICE SYNTHETIC LIQUID POLISH, on my truck and it is Just Great. Took all the old wax residues trapped in my graphics and door handles, easy on, / off. 2 drops on a cotton cheese cloth does a whole fender. The bottle is a little costly, 17.00 for 16oz, but in the long run it is really cheap and sold in most stores. renew my plastics and love the shine. Will do another coat to see the difference. Check it out.
Her is a pic of her 2005 Redfire Stang I did with Turtle Wax ICE SYNTHETIC LIQUID POLISH. I cannot believe the deep shine. The stuff goes on so smooth and spreads so nice and thin. I must of used 1 ounce to do a Pickup truck and the stang. I believe it is a winner for me. Check this stuff out it in a pure clear polish.
Just a note: no mater with wax you use I would clay bar the car first. Zaino can only be order on line. There web site has some great tips on how to wax your car/clay bar so worth a look at good luck with what ever you use but i realy like the way zaino came out for me and it last so well makeing the car a lot easyer to keep clean so much so i did my wife's car with it and she can't belive how clean it looks all the time.

I used the synthetic and speedshine kits and it looked fine but everytime i touched the car i left fingerprints. So ive stripped everything off, tried again and had the same problem. I went to a carnauba wax and so far so good. Nice deep shine and it seems to last just fine. My speedshine works great too. I do like the NTX speedshine. Your not supposed to mix a natural with a synthetic but its been working great so far. I claybared as well. I use natural oils and such on my "leather seating surfaces". I dont like the shiny fake look so all of my interior and exterior dressings contain no silicone. I get less build-up, a nice satin sheen and less dust sticking to it.
I also do all this under the hood too.
I use these people: http://www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp
So far so good and it dont take alot.

I too use Griots Garage products. After trying many of the other products listed here, I discovered Griots products and never looked back. It is all I ever use now and am totally happy with their care car products. Its not cheap, but I do believe its the best.

I've tried NuFinish (don't really recommend it, it provides a great shine, but if you don't keep up with it it lets the paint finish get REALLY nasty).
I used TurtleWax all through high school on my Camaro and S10, using Kit Scratch-Out whenever I had a scratch or other issue that need it, both always worked well, but both were a lot of work.
I tried Kit Car Wash with Caranuba wax, and if used in COMPLETE shade on a cool day, it provides awesome results, one of the best finishes I've ever seen, but on a moderately warm day (mid-to-high 80s) or in ANY sunlight? It leaves wax streaks that are nearly impossible to wash off (I resorted to dish soap and bath towels to finally remove it, in the end just glad my clearcoat wasn't hurt).
I now use the Eagle One Wax-as-you-dry... I love this stuff... I buy a brand-new bath towel before I wash the car, and wash it with my Mr. Clean Autodry system (I HIGHLY recommend that too!) I wash and dry the towel right before I wash the car so any excess lint, dust, or dyes (even white towels sometimes have some dye). then I wet down the bath towel lightly, spray a panel of the car with the wax, and use both hands and the bath towel to rub it down doing it one panel at a time... it looks fantastic when finished, in fact, when I taught my sister how to wash and wax her car (her new 2005 Suzuki Reno) I did the wax for her (I let her learn to wax on my Mustang, as the paint is tired anyway, and she really couldn't hurt it), and the finish was so mirror-like that it looked like a life-size photo of my Mustang was propped up against her car!

Zymol is a great wax also, it's usually the most expensive at any auto parts store, mainly because it's what a lot of the European supercar manufacturers use.
There are waxes that are equally good and cost a lot less though. (most of the synthetic waxes).

This is the stuff I've been using. A guy down the street from me with a 71 "show" Camaro turned me on to this stuff. Makes your whole car feel like silk, lasts forever and repels road salt like you wouldn't believe. This stuff is VERY durable. Costs about 12 bucks a pint at my local hardware store. Even makes the black plastic look great!

The Zymol you get at you local store is pretty good stuff, but it IS NOT the same as the Zymol the supercar owners and elite collectors use. That Zymol costs about $1800. (It does come with lifetime refills though) See here: http://www.zymol.com/vintage2.htm

Correct! The regular Zymol is produced by Turtle Wax. IMO - it's not real easy to use. The product smears and take awhile to do a whole car (one small section at a time).

I have used the works… NuFinish, Mothers, etc. etc. etc. And I REALLY liked mothers. But since Turtle Wax Ice came out…. Oh my. I am converted as are those above me who tried it.
I didn’t have much time and simply followed the instructions… evenly apply a thin coat, wait 3-5 minutes, wipe off, buff with soft cloth. WOW! No streaks. No white residue. No hours of detailing. And a deep shine that normally would take me easily several hours to get before.
Judge for yourself….

I have had good results with it also. Even took all the white powder residue off the rubber and black trim and made that look great also.
