Default Headlight Resurfacing

Need a little help on Headlights. My headlights are blurred and Yellow on my 1988 Fox I just bought smoked headlight covers to cover them up but.. I want the Headlights to show but also be clean. I sanded them down with a Resurfacing Kit i bought It helped a great deal but still not up to factory standards. Any other ways you guys can think of to shine the lens up? Thank you

Go to Dallas Mustang, or "Mustang restoration and Supply" u can pick up a new set made with better plastic than the originals. Also the price is worth the look of the new set. U will never be able to get your stock ones to look crystal clear like new ones, the plastic is discolored throughout the entire thickness of the plastic cover.

You can spend 50$ on kits to resurface them, but they NEVER turn out quite as well as buying new housings.

I, myself, LOVE the "Diamond-cut" Clear headlight kits. They aren't Ricy-looking, and they really throw that light on the road. I put some on my '90 LX and they look terrific. They only cost a little more than OEM replacements, but it's worth it.

I know this site is renowned for its "Riciness" but there are good pictures on it for headlights:

Why is it that no one has decided to make aftermarket replacements out of real glass to end this problem forever. Seems to me that a lot of us would pay for a good quality glass units.

Give the Janvil Headlight Plastic Restore polish a try. I got their system and after a few minuites of hand polishing, I can actually see at night again. New lights were going to cost me big and the Janvil polish was $23. It is hard to tell that these are the original lights. I guess the yellow hazy headlights are a huge problem on all of the Ford products. Here in the South, you can't find a car over 2 years old that doesn't look cloudy.
