I use synthetic Chamois (the one with little holes in it)

For very long i used leather chamois, but gets brittle, gets dirty, its a PITA to take care of it. So i settled with the best thing after it.

I use a leather chamois, but like GTRaptor said, you really have to look after them.... (Not that I can wash my car coz we are in a drought here !)

The best way to dry your car...now don't laugh....is to use a leaf blower.

I've heard of using a leaf blower, but I would be worried about picking up little rocks and hurling them at my car in the process.

LOL...I'm not talking about a leaf blower that is on wheels. I'm talking about the electric hand held ones from weedeater. These don't get anywhere near rocks and stones unless your laying down on the job...lol

Actually the best I have used is a squeegee(sp?) I think it is called the California squeegee. Works great and very quick and will not scratch the paint, even black. It has a very soft plastic edge like an upside down T shape. I think it is actually made from silicone rubber. Probably from all of those breast implants that have gone bad

WOW... Now thast explains why I can't keep my hands off my California Squeegee.

The California Squeegee is another method that works good too. I do use it also.

Try wax as you dry spray from eagle, spray that stuff on wet surface and just one pass of the terry towel and its dry with no streak and makes it shiny and slick..

i use the absorber and one towel and dry in sections. I make one pass with the absorber and then dry the very little excess with the towel. The absorber makes quick work of drying the car.
