I have to admit it is pretty good stuff. But i am a little skeptical still. It didn't give me the WOW factor when i applied it but when the sun hit it at the correct angle. Wow was she shiny.
I do have a question about how long to wait for it to dry. because i ended up with some swirls still on my stang. So i guess i cannot apply it the same way that i do apply wax.
I've used it once, so far, on just the top surfaces and it seemed to do ok. On my Vapor metallic, it was hard to see where it was and wasn't. Otherwise, I plan to do the whole car this weekend.
The best news is that it doesn't leave any film on the plastic, rubber and other incidentals that it gets on. I did the mirror covers (black, not smooth, plastic) and they turned out good. Also the window edges (frames?). So far, so good.

All in all its a good product.
The instructions say to let it dry to a haze (3 to 5 minutes). The instructions also say to remove swirl marks with a damp cloth. I bought the Turtle Wax Ice about 2 weeks ago but haven't used it yet on my Chevy. I only use the best on my Mustang (Griots Best of Show Wax and Griots Carnuba Wax).
To each his own really... as long as you are happy James! I like the TWI polish - only when I use wax and a sealer tho, I won't leave the polish on without waxing and sealing... otherwise I'll use NXT spray wax or detailer...

I tried the 5 star shine stuff and cant complain. Havent waxed in about 10 months now and water still beads and rolls off. the pattern it makes is kinda kool too when you watch it rain. that is, if it rains. dont see much of that here in waikoloa... gotta go to kona for that.. lol

I used to use Ice but after using the Mother's line of products, I'll never go back. First I use the Pre-Wax cleaner which you only have to do once every year or so. Then I use the Sealer and Glaze. Then for the final two steps I use Reflections Car Wax, and finally Reflections Top Coat. Its a lot of work but the shine and depth after that is incredible.
I think that the Ice just doesn't bring out the depth of the paint that other waxes do.

Question on Liquid Ice. I wax/polish just once a year and used it last year. With the previous waxes I used I know you should wash with dish soap first to remove all traces of the wax before rewaxing. But I don't think I need to do this with Liquid Ice. What do you guys say?
Also, have you used Ice on vinyl stripes? I assume should be no problem. I plan on adding some vinyl this spring.

I would strip it down clean - with dish soap and start new... no use in layering year old wax and polish - being most of it (if your car is out in rain and snow, etc) is probably gone...
I plan on detailing my car in the next few weeks - including clay bar, cleaner wax, polish, wax, wax and seal... it's a 2 day process - so I take my time, do it right and really only have minor touch ups between...
You have a beautiful car by the way!!
