Default Searching for phrases ?

Some forums have a "sticky" for common forum questions ... like "how do I search for a phrase" ....

So .... how do I search for a phase .... like "long block" .... if, like in most search engines, I tell the AFM search engine to look for "long block", it comes back with results for "long, block", i.e., it gives results for any thread which contains the words long and block .... not the phrase "long block" .....

Plz let me know if there is a way to successfully search for phrases in the AFM forums ...

gracci, gracci, graccci ...

I have used the search with 1 word up to a phrase. I find that if I use the 1 or 2 keywords it searches better. you can specify in the search whether it looks inside a thread for keywords or just for posts. I am not sure what your looking for when you say "long block" Are you searching for info on them or ???

search by posts...

If this is no help I do appologize. I will forward to the webmaster.

Simply searching for the phrase "long block" ... or any other phrase for that matter ...
... the problem is that the search engine appears to not search for phrases, only the individual words ...

I did notice that today while searching for something. Hmmm not sure if there is a setting to let that happen?

You cannot search for phrases with the search engine.
