I get this message all the time when I'm just trying to read the "New Posts".

When I finish reading a post, I go to the top of the screen, click "Most Recent", then "New Posts" to look for something new, and it gives me the error.

WHAT THE HECK! I hadn't done anything for the last couple of minutes because I'd been reading the post on my screen...

Sometimes i will leave my computer for an hour or more, walk up to it, click on "Most Recent", then "New Posts" and whammo!

Not only that, it starts the 15 second timer all over again and I have to wait yet another 15 seconds before I can look for a new thread to read.

That's a new one.

The tech people will look into it.

It drives me crazy!

Another thing it does is tell me I entered invalid search criteria if I hit refresh on a screen of posts after leaving the computer for a while. It works if I stay active, but if I go and do something else for a while, come back, and hit refresh it's all over...

I am a member of two other forums that use similar software and these problems don't happen there...

I may have just found a clue to the bug...

I've been clicking on "Most Recent" and then clicking on "New Posts" and it acts as if my click on "Most Recent" that simply opened the pull-down menu counted as if I had just done a search.

I just started using the down-pointing triangle to the right of "Most Recent" and then clicking on "New Posts" and I don't seem to see the problem.

This is also happening if I use the "My Posts" bar at the top and then click on "My Posts." If I click the triangle and then choose "My Posts" I don't get the try again in 15 seconds message!
