I just found out today that there is a new Mustang Club in Hope Mills, NC. It was just formed late last summer and there's already over 75 members. It's named the Sandhills Mustang Club and if anyones interested, their web site is Sandhills Mustang Club

Have you been to a meeting?

I just found out about the club and haven't attended a meeting. They hold their meetings the first Saturday of the month at Sonics in Hope Mills at 1900. I work Saturday nights but I'll probably take some time off in April to attend a meeting. They have a car show planned with their sponsor, Lafayette Ford sometime in May. It sounds like a really young club thats growing fast.

I'm going to try and hit Sonic tonight, and see what's there. I haven't seen many classic cars on their site yet.

I doubt it will be ready by then. I'd hoped to paint over Christmas but decided it needed subframe connectors first; which I haven't done yet. From there it’s re-assembly time, and it’s been so long (9 years), I’m not sure I remember where everything goes. I was hoping this new local club would have a few ’64-‘66’s that I could use as a model; no luck there yet.

I did get all the wiring done, and the disc brake conversion…
