Hi everyone

I will be at Orlando between august 5th and august 16th for vacation and I rented the famous GTH for the first 2 days to go to Tampas then I will get the Mustang convertible for the rest of my stay.

Can someone tell me if it is some safe place to "test" a bit the GTH even if I don't want to push it so far (I never drived a so powerfull car) but just be able to "feel" it a bit more than on a simple road?

I will not be too much at Orlando since I will get the car at 10pm then we go to Tampas early the 6th and come back to exchange the car so we will be mostly at Tampas near Bush Garden.

So if someone know a good place at Tampas near Bush Garden I would be happy

By the way if you have some good place to eat at Tampas or Orlando (typical cooking or speciality) it could enjoy my travel

Any where east of Tampa its very rural.Lots of long flat straight roads.If you have a video camera how about posting some burnout videosTo eat go to Ybor city.The Spaghetti Warehouse is one of my favorites.Its in an old cigar factory.Ybor city is a very cool place.

Thanks for your infos I will see what I can do on the road from/to Orlando that is in the east way

I will check Ybor City and that famouse spaghetti warehouse that sound a good place to eat

I see that it is an "industrial park" just north to Busch Garden Africa with some factory parking that can provide a good place to make some burnout (if they have no guard or gates of course)
I see on Google map that it have one nice line and I suppose it is less possibilities to get some cops/speed test in there since it is no house especialy at the evening when the factories are close...

Do you think it can be a good idea?

My niece will be my camera woman and of course I will post my pictures/video as soon as possible and post the link here

There is also a great drag strip about an hour south of Tampa in Bradenton.Its called Desoto dragway.They may still have a test and tune night.I'd be careful at a industrial park.

Unfortunaly I will not have lot of time (normaly only one evening) so it is impossible to go far away
I don't really want to do too much things with the car. Just driving it and listen to the engine will be very good
Anyway I am not used to make burnout and speed so I don't want to damage the car even if I want to, at least, test it a bit since I will never get a car like that anymore
I will see on the way down from/to Orlando if I see a safety place too
