how much window tinting can u have and it be legal?
i passed a sheriff and i could just barely see his arm on the wheel and im thinking about tinting my windows.
any idea of how much to tint and what windows? laser red mustang

As far as i know, if the rules have not changed in the past year the legal limit in North Carolina is 30% tint on all windows including the back. This does exclude the windshield tho. I am not sure if its a state rule or nationwide but you can not tint the windshield unless you have cataracts.

chances are, unless you live in a really strict county no one will ever check your windows so you should be ok. But then again you don't want to getin trouble.
