Just letting everybody know that the MS region of the SCCA is hosting its annual Autocross School at the Grenada Municipal Airport in Grenada, MS on March 28 with a competitive event to follow on Sunday, March 29. The school will be spearheaded by 14 time Solo II National Champion John Thomas. The school will focus on the basics of car control, proper racing lines, and tips for getting the most speed out of your car. The school will have two parts. Part one will be a classroom setting and part two will be on a mini autocross course with instructor ride-alongs. The school isn't just for beginners. Anyone is invited to come out and share in John's extensive knowledge of this sport. Information on the event and registration can be found on the website at Mississippi Sports Car Club of America. If anyone has any questions just let me know!

Hey I'm gonna be driving a bone stock v6! You should come out! The people that come out are great to hang around with and we usually go out to eat as a group on Saturday night. If your interested just let me know. I'll give you info on the hotel we usually stay at and if you want we could meet up in Hattiesburg and drive up together!

Sounds good! The hotel is kind of a dive but its cheap. The beds are good after a long day at the autox! I'll ask my dad about nightly rates and let you know!

The hotel is the Best Western in Grenada and it runs around $55 for two nights. We usually go up on Friday night and come home after the event on Sunday

imo autox is sooo much more fun than drag racing. Autox is more about the car as a whole, rather than just the engine. I think you'll really enjoy yourself out there!
