M.A.D.D. Test and Tune Knoxville

On June 27, there will be a test and tune at the Knoxville Dragway as well as a car show. Entry fee is only $20 and funds go to the local M.A.D.D. fund. It sounds like fun, I know of a few mustang guys going, and I know several police officers will be there. There might even be a few police cars racing.

I've never took my car to a track, so I'm looking really forward to this. I probably won't have the best of times, but it will be the perfect time start racing. Anybody else going? I'd like to have a good showing of mustangs, and would like to meet up with any other AFMers that are attending. Look forward to seeing some of ya'll there.

Pardon my ignorance ,,, but where is Knoxville Dragway ?
I'm in Maryville (but not a native )

Its way up in Maynardville. You basically follow Broadway north for a while until you run into it. Knoxvilledragway.com is their site if you need better directions.

And Keith, I doubt those MADD women will be serving the nice cold drinks, but I heard DAMM (Drunks Against MADD Mothers) will be showing up and Im sure they will have plenty to share.

Like he said go up Broadway in Knoxville. This road becomes Maynardville highway. You will see a Marathon gas station on your left and the track is just past that. There is an old junkyard a few hundred yards past the Marathon. Turn left there.
