** For those of you who live in Memphis, TN area. **
First, the introduction. I am in the U.S. NAVY, stationed at Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN. I am part of the Navy Personnel Command 10th Anniversary committee. The 10th anniversary celebration will be from 2-4 October 2004, but important date is Saturday, October 4th. There will be 5K run, picnic, car show, and carnival at Navy Lake in Millington, TN. Yes, car show. The Saturday event at Navy Lake is open to public. That means everyone! We have one problem. So far, we only have 3-4 car clubs, and MOPAR will be showing their cars. We need more cars out there. I ask all the car clubs for your help. We only have one sponsor from MOPAR so far. So, there are no funds for any kind of awards other then awards provided from MOPAR. Any awards for the show car will be provided and presented by the sponsors. Bring your car club, and provide the awards. Most important, we need more cars out there. So, if you or your club would like to be part of the event and show up, please post or email me at kyong.clawson@navy.mil. I will answer your questions as best I can.
Again, this event is open to public. Bring your car for the car show, and/or come out and enjoy.
