I have a 2002 Mustang Convertible, 6 cyl. that seems to have transmission issues. Most of the time it drives great, but when sometimes it seems a does this little jerk thing once or twice when ascending a long steep hill, like it's trying to find where it's comfortable. Is there anything else I could check or do that might remedy this problem, if not, anyone know a price range and good place in West Atlanta area to get transmission work done, or possibly a new transmission? Sounds like it's starting to slip when under a load. I'd suggest getting it serviced as soon as you can. It's hard to say what price to say because it could be a few different things wrong. It could be just an hours labor to a full rebuild and I don't want to steer you wrong. I'll move this to the Southeast region to get you a better chance at getting someone to say a place around Atlanta.
