C-4 Transmission Shift Module

Default C-4 Transmission Shift Module
I have recently purchased a 1965 Ford Falcon which has a 200 6 cyl Mustang Engine in it. There is no push rod going out of the shift module. Does anyone know the length of this rod so I can make my own, as Ford stopped making the rod in 1999?
