Don't think i ever posted in here. But i moved to Scottsdale last November. I'm currently out of the state but i'll be back in sept. I'm always up for meetin people and goin out for a drive, grabbin a beer, or w/e. Its nice to just get out and enjoy the stang.

Just found this - silly me - I would have thought we were in the Southwest! lol!

Here in Phoenix with two mustangs - 67 Fastback 'Big Blue', and a 2002 GT convertible.

We won't make Sedona, but you'll all have a great time! Blue's not quite ready for a trip that far yet (new engine).

Thank god I stumbled across this thread, because I was lost...I didn't realize that AZ was in the mid-west. Okay, just kidding!

Live in Tucson, just moved here 18 months ago from NE PA.

I've grown up with Mustangs all my life...finally bought my own in 02 brand new, and flipped it in a snow storm in NE PA.

Finally found one that I wanted and just bought a 00 convertible GT V8, gas mileage sucks but that'll change when I finally get in there and do some TLC.

Paid $2900 for it (at a repo sale), and it needs a lot of love!

So far I've spent a total of $6000 in repairs plus the cost of the vehicle, the rest is really just time consuming...but I really wish the horn and lighter worked! LOL

Don't know a lot about the different motors...I know I have a V8, but what's the difference between a 4.6L; 4.8L or 5.0L. I'm sure it's a 4.8L...but a few people tell me I don't know what I bought cause there is no such thing on a mustang and I must have a 5.0L.

Oops, I meant I'm sure it's a 4.6L, and people keep telling me it's a 5.0 because it's a V8. Now I know though that's it a 4.6L V8 FI SOHC 16V.

What is this chapter your talking about? I know the Mustang scene has died down a little since no one can afford to waste gas anymore or fix their cars. Thats the boat I'm in, my fox has been innop for a little while now. I still have my 6 banger for everyday, its not bad looking, but by no means fast, anyways.
