.. hi everyone, i just purchased a 1988 gt .. i feel in love with her the moment i saw her.i knew she had some problems when i was makin the deal, i was going to try and tackle the car myself .. but i work in the oil field, so i dont have the time. i'm looking for someone or a shop(in or around west texas,but can take her farther if need be) that could do me the favor to help me get her back on the road any help would be appreciated.

for anyone willing to tackle her

she needs
Steering column(someone tried to take her from previous owner)
Rebuild the t-5(pervious owner thinks it sycros but to be safe)
and redo the suspension bushing, springs,shocks/struts
oh yea the previous owner .. did a dyi aod to t-5 swap,and changed the 85mph speedo to a 140mph speedo .. nothing works

i wouldnt trust anyone in odessa to fix my daughters bike much less my car .. im a few hours from amarillo .. any website or number would be great thanks

I'm from Amarillo, but haven't had the best luck with the shops here. I have all my work done at Pro Tech Performance in Lubbock. Worth the drive/would def. recommend!

i bought my5.0 cuz i need another toy ....
its had some problems had touble on finding someone to help with what needed to be fixed .. so i did the next best thing ..........
I STARTED HER UP ..took a couple of drags .I HAVE A REALLY LOUD SEXY EXHAUST. and went home in less then 20 minutes i had every fox and new age stang at my house (i live in a small town and the fox craze just hit again here) ther are a few true sport cars around here mostly .. lifted trucks.. IT WAS LIKE A MUSTANG MATING CALL.. MY CHICK WAS PISSED .. IMAGINE EVERY nosiey exhaust tone,rumble or pop on ur property it was cool.. long stoy i know .. but the point is with that simple jesture i had every number, card, and hook up ... my baby is now in very capable hand .. she will be out soon letting them hang!!!!
