Default Spencer Performance Inc. Introduction

Hello everyone, here's a-little info about myself and Spencer Performance Inc. My name is Chris Spencer and I am the owner and operator of Spencer Performance. My background includes a mechanical engineering degree and years of CNC programing and running CNC mills, lathes, lasers, punchpresses, waterjets, and plasma cutters. I am also a certified Mig and Tig welder. In my free time I enjoy building and flying RC planes/heli's, building custom high end gaming computers, and spending time with my fiance Krystle and my 4 year old daughter Brooke. I started Spencer Performance in jan. of 08. My main emphasis in the aftermarket Mustang community is to design, test, manufacture, and market parts that you can not get anywhere else. I use the latest mechanical design software to engineer parts and run stress test analysis on my design. Once a working design is completed I machine the parts and install them on my personal car for longevity testing. So in a nutshell Spencer Performance is all about releasing unique parts that no-one else makes. Our unique parts will put your car ahead of the game and leave 2nd place in your dust. So there's some info about us, if you have any questions post 'em. I am glad to be welcomed to the AFM network with open arms and I will be more than happy to help out any stang owner or enthusiast.

Very much appreciated,
Chris Spencer

Wow I didn't know you were a sponsor on here. I just bought an idler pulley from you on Ebay for my 99 Cobra. Did a search on google for Spencer Performance Inc. and found this thread. The pulley looks awesome! Very unique look, and looks like it has more detailed work done to it than the other billet parts I saw. It will look awesome on my car. Question? Will this pulley also work for the stationary pulley that attaches to the front timing cover on a 99 Cobra? If so, I need another one so they will match. Well I'm glad to see I partonized a forum sponsor, even if it was unintentional. But I'm going to keep my eye on whatever else you have and may be developing!

Michael, Thank you very much for buying our pulley. It's great to get some feedback from our customers. Yes the pulley will also replace that stationary pulley, however you might have to sand down just a-little off the gusset of the boss for the bolt. It doesn't affect the strength of the timing chain cover. I'll attach some pic of it installed on my Saleen... It was dark and im holding a flashlight for some light, i'll take some better pics today. I'm currently designing parts for the S197. Another little side project is user adjustable sequential taillights. You will be able to control the speed of the sweep, and 4 different sweep modes. These companies that make and sell the kits for like $300 are rediculous, Im shooting for my kit to cost around 50-75. Take some pics of the pulley on your car and E-mail them to me if you don't mind Chris@spencerperformance.com. Thanks again Mike. Take care

Email sent with pics. Sorry engine bay is nasty, I'm in the process of cleaning it up. No time this past year.
